On February 8th, we inaugurated the exhibition Centelles seen by Centelles, curated by our professor Ricard Martínez, which brings together a selection of the photographs by Agustí Centelles that form part of the collective imagination that society has of the Spanish Civil War.
This visual entrenchment is due to the fact that the images of the exhibition are executed in two steps. The first is seen during its fleeting realization, in the face of the painful events they represent. But there is a second moment, which begins during the Transition, when Centelles recovers his archive, which he had left hidden in France for more than thirty years.
The exhibition gives value and complements the seminar Balas de Plata, which takes place during five sessions of 7
from February to March 7 in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Spanish Civil War.
