We start this new stage by presenting our art space “MANCHART” where the creativity and desire to experiment are motivated starting from the individual search, which encourages the free and internal expression of anyone with a desire to learn, where we seek to offer the opportunity to communicate with himself and with his environment.
That is, to encourage creativity is to exercise the imagination and the integral development of all.

Alejandra Vera (1989, Quito, Ecuador)
She moved to Canada in 2005. She has a BFA from NSCAD University in painting and sculpture. She recently completed a master’s degree program in Barcelona.
Her practice revolves around questioning our relationship to the physical world, how we interpret it and how we negotiate the meaning of it. Mainly, she is interested in the process of perception that takes place between the work of art and the spectators, and how this process is reflected in the different contexts and conceptual frameworks that each spectator brings. Very interested in the interaction that the work of art creates between abstract ideas and the world as we perceive it day by day.
