One more year, Femart organizes the “Art Show” by women, lesbians and trans, from which feminist debates, critical and radical attitudes against patriarchy and proposals for new paradigms of creative relationships are moved and promoted. THIS YEAR WE DECLARE ILLUMINATED !!
WE REJECT THE LIMITS WHICH ARE INTENDED TO DETERMINE OUR BODIES AND THEREFORE WE FEEL EVERYBODY GREATER, EVERYBODY MORE UNLIMITED!
People, things in the world touch, come in contact, relate. The limit is a concept that constrains the relationship, is an artificial construction that seeks to classify us from a concrete and hierarchical regulatory perspective. When there are no repressive limits, boundaries fall and relationships become possible.
Most limits subject to time exclude and reject. An alliance between the repressed and the excluded and marginal becomes a possibility of revolt. In any case, each limit that establishes planting
the seed of the transgressions that will overflow and that betray their manufactured and contingent existence. To feel UNLIMITED means to live in constant insomnia, in constant dialogue and confrontation with everything that is presented to us as closed and too “defined” forms, it is a question of disobeying the paralysis!
In this sample we want to “unmask” (and unmask) art with unlimited attitude. That is why we propose to subvert the very limits of what we consider to be art and to experience how
our daily and political actions of struggle and transgression can acquire artistic forms … All artistic creation is already a transgression of the foreseeable. An untamed artistic gesture becomes a political act and an open possibility.
