Upcoming Events › Local art

The local art scene of Barcelona is marked by the strong interest in illustration and urban art, mainly driven by young galleries of recent years. Another great strength is video art, thanks to the influence of the Loop festival. Supporting this medium, there are several galleries that promote conceptual and political art, while the more established ones often opt for painting and figurative art. A special mention goes to the emerging art scene that every year produces new talents in their shows.
