The MACBA – Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona has one of the most important collections of contemporary art in southern Europe. The Museum starts with a focus on the Catalan conceptual art, but covers all the artistic expressions of the past decades. Their temporary exhibitions regularly bring international artists to the attention of Barcelona public. The program of activities accompanying the exhibitions is excellent and opens participants a variety possibilities to get involved, learn about and approach artistic practices today.
