The MNAC – Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is known for its collection of Romanesque art, but since 2014 also has an excellent selection of modern art. Its temporary exhibitions present Catalan, Spanish and international painting, photography, graphic arts and applied arts and in recent years give special prominence to female artists.
Francesc Torres, Catalan multifaceted artist, wants to transform a part of the museum into an entropic box highlighting its preservation function.
