Can Framis Museum is dedicated to the promotion of contemporary Catalan painting. The old wool factory, after its reform turned into one of the architectural attractions of the neighborhood, is home to more than six hundred works of the Vila Casas Foundation. Temporary exhibitions complement the museums line with contemporary Catalan art from other collections.
Inauguration at 7.30 pm Jordi Alcaraz (Calella, 1963) is a creator at the intersection between visual poetry and conceptual projection, whose work consists of a metaphorical approach to the object. Alcaraz experiments with fragile materials imbued with a certain lyricism – water, glass, mirrors and books – to create bonds of tension between them, while constructing a discourse associated with volume, language and time.
