The Swiss artist Anton Bruhin has created “demons” in a playful manner with the help of a strict grid. Abstract grimaces are displayed which, while they look grim, are at the same time quite funny and sympathetic.
Anton Bruhin (* 1949) has been known as an artist, musician and poet since the late 1960s. As a visual artist, he moves in the tension between digital screen, sculpture and traditional painting. In 2014 he was awarded the prestigious Prix Meret Oppenheim. Especially as a “trumpeter” (Maultrommel) he also gained prominence abroad.
TABLEAU ZURICH is a place for visual art in public space. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Bellevue, Stadelhofen station and Kunsthaus Zürich. Two exhibitions are shown each year, which are freely accessible 365 days a year.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the Vernissage on October 12th! The artist will be present.
