22 September to 14 October
The accomplice. A partner through thick and thin. A confidant, a victim, an accomplice. The complicitness makes her shadowy past from the past visibly. Over the past decades, more and more legitimate complications have been observed – networking is building visible and invisible bridges between places, people and potentials. Is this networking a never-ending time-spirit, an indispensable attitude on the way to successful projects? Or is it simply the lived realization that cooperation creates the greatest possible evolutive moments?
The project Compliments opens a field to ask sociocultural questions about networks in the area of action of incoming cross-connections. Young artistic positions from Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland activate their network by inviting a position to open up a dialogue and create a joint new artistic work. Accomplice moves between collaborative work and cooperative exchange in heterogeneous fields and creates a temporary place for dialogue and collaboration within an experimental platform. The most varied motifs for expression forms and boundaries of cooperation are explored, explored and presented.
After the successful and successful start of the exhibition project, Komplizen, which takes place in the Kunstraum Engländerbau in Vaduz from June 27 to August 27, 2017, the organism migrates to the urban area of Zurich to play a second exhibition venue with TART Zurich. In addition to selected positions already realized in the Kunstraum Engländerbau, new positions from Liechtenstein and Switzerland will also be represented at the exhibition in Zurich. New knotings in the networks of the young artists will manifest themselves in uncharted complications and resulting new artistic works for the project at TART Zurich.
