Biology and technology are subject to a constant evolution that does not stop at photography and graphics. Include new opportunities in work or consciously follow traditional methods and procedures? These are questions that are often heatedly discussed in the studio of these three young artists in the light of their own practice.
The artists are the two photographers Philipp Rupp and Bruno Karl Stebler and the graphic designer Nico Yang.
For the exhibition in the Kafi Schoffel they have their own flood of images asked to play with united works on the wall. Picture worlds await you, which not only have superficially great things to offer.
Nico Yang (* 1992), graphic artist from Zurich, mainly deals with poster graphics. The intensive consumption of Chinese Rap Music produces contemporary, partly critical works from the intersection of Switzerland and China.
Bruno Karl Stebler (* 1984) Photographer from Zurich, jumping back and forth between analog and digital, but is losing more and more in digitality and is looking for the analogue.
Philipp Rupp (* 1991) Photographer from Zurich, may not decide between the details and the big picture.
