Andrea Ebener

25 January - 24 February
We Show Off, Usteristrasse 14, Zürich, 8001 Switzerland + Google Map

In her work Andrea Ebener gives the symbolism of vanitas a fresh and contemporary approach. She places her own, often nude, living and breathing body in contrast to elements like bones and skulls in order to comment temporality of living, inevitability of decay and the place of oneself in universe, nature and time. Mystical and highly esthetic her photographs make us question life, death and self as visual but also as real concepts. Vernissage 25.01.2018 Exhibition 25.01. - 24.03.2018

22 February 2018 - 17 March 2018 “PASTOS FAMOS” The flood of images literally floods us. More than ever, it seems to be a conscious decision to choose the slow and analogous medium of painting.
